Chapter 03
Samples and tests before you buy
A good sample from a hand-picked pile tells you nothing about the lot that reaches your warehouse.
Sampling from the right lot
- Name the lot number in the sample request.
- Draw from several points of the pile, or ask for photos of the drawing.
- Seal the sample bag and note the date.
- Keep a reference sample on your side until the lot is received.
A figure needs its method
A test result with no method and reporting basis cannot be compared between suppliers. Ask for the method name, the test date and the tester’s name.
Data not available yet · Kora has not published lot test results on its product page; ask sales.
When your result differs from the supplier’s
Rely on the claims clause and the third-party tester in the contract. Without them a gap between results becomes an argument.
